With a rich aroma of a fine Belgian chocolate, a boozy forward flavor, and a lingering dark chocolate aftertaste, it is no wonder it is the world's best chocolate beer. It had recently won the gold award at the World Beer Cup 2016 in the chocolate beer category.

This feels like the type of stouts popular amongst American beer drinkers, since a few years ago with barrel aged stouts aged in whiskey Barrels. Thanks to its rich chocolate flavor and 13% ABV the perceived bitterness is on the low side, just edging moderate. The perfect beer as a stand alone dessert.
