Fruity. No seriously, from the aroma to the flavor you are hit with a nice refreshing fruitiness. Reminds me of a grapefruit but in a more subdued way as if all the tang of the fruit was stripped away. Which makes sense considering it is said to have orange, kumquat, and tangerine favors. There is a subtle sweetness that follows the fruit helping to mellow out the crispness of the citrus flavors, allowing for a more balances feel. Honestly I am very surprised by this beer as I was not very much a fan of their pale ale. With this one, the more I taste it the more I like it. Despite all the the fruit flavors, the sweetness and the low perceived bitterness it still taste like a beer. However, it is a good beer for those who are not generally big fans of the bitter beverage.
