While the beer is very simple and refreshing the aroma that comes off is a intense floral bouquet that makes the beer enjoyable before you even take the first sip. It is low in the perceived bitterness, which is normal for a German wheat beer. The flavor does have some of the malty sweetness you would expect from a Weizen. Though I had a hard time pulling out the banana flavor you would get four these beers. It's was there but only just so. Perhaps it's was the lemongrass that hide some of the usual flavors which in itself was not strong either. However, the beer is smooth and enjoyable for usual fans of a wheat beer.
