There is a subtle but of the toasted flavor ibn this porter. Which goes it a nice flavor profile. But the coconut part not so much which isn't surprising as that is a light flavor easily masked by the maltiness of a porter. It is a beer that goes great with bbq meat especially a brisket. The sweetness of the maltiness is much brighter with a meal.
