The One-hundreth beer of heart of Darkness. Which is insane to think for the nearly and only one year old brewery. But as insane as the brewers are, so is this beer at its high numbers. You start off with very strong citrus aromas. Definite grapefruit flavor with a nice smooth bitterness that doesn't assault the senses. Nice hoppy lingering to the beer. Surprisingly well balanced, but then again not if you realised this is not their first, or even second foray into one-hundred plus IBU beers. I look forward to when they break the two-hundred IBU range next year.
