It's a saison. Which if you are not familiar with them they are like the wine of beers, but still a beer. They tend to have a a fruitiness to them and are often a well balanced mix of herbs and spices to add to the flavor of the beer. The Saigon or Spice Island Saigon is no exception. It's a saison to the tee. And at the higher end of ABV for what is normal for the style quite enjoyable. While it does have a moderate bitterness the alcohol cuts it short as the IBU is on the lower end. This is a beer you need to give a try for Pasteur street. Sure the IPA is the normal go to for most beer drinkers but the Saison is a must try. It's a beer everyone can enjoy. They tend to pair so well with a large variety of food as the style originated as a farmhouse ale, made to be with large farmers meals. If you are getting bored of the IPA , try this one. Only this really is a beer better enjoyed with a meal.
