Strong, milky, and sweet as a nice milk stout should be. Just maybe a bit too sweet for me. This was the intention and I cannot dislike it due to that. I get a good amount of the coffee used in the beer but the aroma smells just like a well made cup of coffee. You would almost think you are about too drink that instead from the aroma alone but then you take it for a completely different thing, a milk stout. The high amount of alcohol however is very much masked by the intense milky sweetness making it possibly dangerous in the wrong hands. It is a good dessert beer. Not at all something to enjoy before or during a meal but it is not as heavy say a chocolate stout so you could still enjoy it with something as a after meal treat. The texture of the beer really coms in with just how sweet this beer is. There is almost a sugary feel to it. A delicious beer but not my cup of tea. Well it is coffee after all.
